*When you send a deposit and/or payment you are stating that you have read and understand all of the below information.
A kid may be reserved from us by sending a $100 deposit for each kid ordered, with the remainder of the purchase price due within two weeks after notification of a reserved kid's birth. Kids should be picked up at that time as well unless buyer makes other arrangements with us. Boarding fees will apply after 2 weeks. Board from age 2 weeks to age 4 weeks is $5 per day. Board after 4 weeks of age is $10 per day. We are willing to work with reputable transporters if necessary but we love meeting the new families of our goats if it is possible!
We award reservations based on the order deposits are received. If a reservation is changed to a different animal, previous reservations for that doe take priority. We recommend, but do not require, a first and second choice per deposit. First-choice reservations are given preference. If we have extra kids born, they will be offered first to customers whose reservations could not be filled.
We notify buyers when kids are born, but don't release the kid for purchase until we have determined it is of satisfactory quality and, in the case of first fresheners, that the dam's udder and milk volume is satisfactory. All kids will only be sold in good health and having been tattooed and disbudded. If a kid does not meet our standards, we will do our best to provide a suitable replacement or if that is not possible we will refund your deposit.
Animals that remain unpaid for by two weeks of age (unless special arrangements have been agreed upon) may be resold to another buyer and any monies paid forfeited. We are not financially responsible for the medical expenses of a purchased animal either before or after it leaves our care, though we make diligent efforts to maintain each animal's health.
We reserve the right to select animals for our herd's needs. We also require 20 straws of semen to be made available to us at the cost of collection from any buck that we sell, should we request them.
Buyers may, if a reserved animal is either not born or is retained by Camelot Cattle Company, move the reservation to another animal or roll the reservation to the following season or have it returned in full. However, no refunds will be made if a reservation is cancelled by the buyer after it is made.
Pricing: Kid reservation prices listed on our page are for pre-ordered kids only, that are picked up by two weeks of age. We do not guarantee listed prices on kids purchased after birth. Boarding fees will be applied if kids are not picked up by the designated two week time period.
Payment: Cash is preferred payment method particularly when animal is being picked up. If paying a deposit by check or money order, make payable to Michelle DeLong. Checks must be cleared before animal can be picked up.
Mature does and bucks are sometimes available as we do keep a small herd. We do accept reservations on some mature animals and when the buck or doe comes available we will contact you.
We do our best to accurately represent our animals through pictures, DHIR/LA data and descriptions but please feel free to contact us about your goals and we are always happy to help you select the best fit for your herd.
All necessary health papers, any testing outside of our routine testing and all shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.
*All sales are final. For bio-security measures, any animal which leaves our farm, may not be returned for ANY reason. So please inspect animals thoroughly to insure you are satisfied before taking them off the farm. We also ask that when you visit, you refrain from wearing your regular barn boots and barn outerwear. Please wear clean shoes/boots and clean jeans/outerwear that you have not worn in any barn or around any other animals. You will NOT be permitted inside the pens with the animals at any time. We will bring the animal(s) that you may be interested in out of the pen for your closer inspection. Thank you for understanding!
